Next using the rectangle selection tool to copy part of an image, then 'Paste' the copied selection as a 'New Image' saving it as both a .pspimage file and export it as a .jpg file.
This first image we were instructed to add TEXT after we had Pasted our Selection appropriately.
Our next assignment was to find a new image and using the selection tool, make a selection around the borders then using the paint brush tool paint that border.
After I painted the border, while still selected I chose to use Effects and give it a very subtle Inner Bevel.
Thanks Wendy! Great Instructions!! Probably the most useful suggestion was to view the 'Product Tour' for PSPv8 - that alone helped tremendously in getting comfortable with this new version. After the Tour completed I viewed it a second time and had a look at all the embedded links~ Give me Week 2, this is Fun!! :)
