Use the Magnetic Lasso to select, then copy and paste the hula girl selection to a new image
Use the Lasso Tool and make a loose selection around the hula girl, then use Quick Mask Mode to refine the selection. Copy and paste it to a new image
Combine the images from #1 and #2 as outlined in the exercise. Tell me which you prefer and why. Post on your website (Or on the board) what you do (and don't ) like about the masking method	Using the Lasso and Quick Mask Method is by far a better result - I could have made this presentation better had I spent the amount of time I did on the Flower for this weeks assignment :)
Using the Quick Mask Method, select the flower from the image, use any and all of the hints and tips I provided for you to get the best selection you can possibly get	This was a wonderful exercise in using the Quick Mask - so many pixels to save and many more to MASK!!! It was great fun and a nice challenge! Thanks
Combine the girl, sunset, and flower images. Add text and give it a drop shadow. Post the image along with the rest of your images to your web site

This was one of the most challenging and intense exercises yet (that flower was a great sample to learn using the Quick Mask). Sonja and Vikki thanks so much for all your help and support!!!
Major NEWS!!! Photoshop Shortcuts that are invaluable - 1 - Zoom, Zoom, ZOOM!! When doing your masking work, zoom in close. The closer you can get, the better/more accurately you are able to select. Use your Spacebar* to pan around the image without having to zoom back out to see where you are. When you hit your spacebar, you will notice your cursor change to a little hand allowing you to pan around the zoomed image. 2 - Use the bracket keys on your keyboard [ and ] to resize the Paintbrush Tool (B) as you work instead of using the options bar 3 - Q for the Quick Mask Tool - WOW so awesome once you think you've gotten close :) 4 - My Favorite ** Ctrl and Double Click the blank PS background area for a New Canvas
