My EYES are exausted from so much reading so I thought this font was appropriate for this week ! :)

Homework Week 2-1 1. Explore your interface, try different settings for your palettes and screen view. Once satisfied with the layout, take a screen shot and post as your homework. 2. Familiarize yourself with the Context menu and all of their sub menu's. 3. Turn on your Rulers. Post a screenshot of them on an image. 4. Make any preference settings you want to set	This is my preferred workspace for now - not enough knowledge to truely have a preference yet. So much information and so little time. I spent so much time in the 'Help Files' this week - so that is one area I feel the most comfortable. Your suggestions are very helpful in taking this 'one step at the time'. While taking your reccommendations to explore all the drop down menus is one of the reasons this assignment is being posted so late. :) Trying to 'Select' colors using Select -> Color Range and the Majic Wand was so inspiring (my example is on the lame attempt from last week with the infamous TREE (in red).
	This is my example of having the Rulers On in this screenshot - NOW you have another idea as to why my homework is not completed on time - Fluffy is not only on the computer while I'm Away sigh *Fluffy is enrolled in the 12 step program but you see he is not attending his regularly scheduled meetings when I could be doing my homework!! Grrrrrrr I'm sticking to most of the default settings (for now) until I learn more - Thanks for all your suggestions.
I love the capabilitiy of Ctrl and Double Click the blank PS background area for a New Canvas - Thanks!! Week 2 Part 2 Homework 1- Review the reading material and familiarize yourself with the Toolbox. 2- Review the Brush Picker, customize it to display to suit your workflow. Take a screen shot and post to share with the rest of the class. 3- Review the Brushes Palette 4- Set Fade Options in the Brushes palette and paint fading strokes across the canvas. Post with the rest of your homework. 5- Using the other Brush Dynamics (Color and Jitter), adjust the settings, apply them to the canvas. Play around with each of them so that you will have a good feel of how each one works. Post at least 2 images for each option.	Brush Stroke example one according to directions in the lesson.
Bruch Stroke Excercise example 2.	Instead of trying to explain the parameters I set for the second example of the Brush Stoke I cheated and used a screen shot :)

Thanks for so much important information this week - it was a lot to remember so there is tons highlighted in this weeks lesson. I know using this software will get easier with each use.
