Imagine. . .

There is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do?

Draw out ALL OF IT, of course!!!!

Each of us has such a bank.
Its name is TIME.

Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow." You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today.

  • To realize the Value of a FRIEND, Lose One
  1. Treasure every moment that you have!
  2. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time.
  3. Remember that time waits for no one.
    • Yesterday is history.
    • Tomorrow is a mystery.
    • Today is a Gift. That's why it's called the Present!!!
  4. Friends are a very rare jewels, indeed.
  5. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
  6. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their heart to us.

Friends Without Faces

We sit and we type,  And we stare at our screens,  We all have to wonder,
What this possibly means.  With our mouse's we roam,  Through the rooms in a maze,
Looking for something or someone,  As we sit in a daze.  We chat with each other,
We type all our woes,  Small groups we do form,  And gang up on our foes.
We wait for somebody,  To type out our name,  We want recognition,
But it's always the same.  We give kisses and hugs,  And sometimes flirt,
In MIRC we chat deeply,  And reveal why we hurt.  We do form friendships
But why we don't know,  But some of these friendships, Will flourish and grow.
Why it is on screen,  We can be so bold,  Telling our secrets,
That have never been told.  Why is it we share,  The thoughts in our mind,
With those we can't see,  As though we were blind.  The answer is simple,
It's as clear as a bell.  We all have our problems,  And need someone to tell.
We can't tell "real" people,  But tell someone we must,  So we turn on the computer,
And to those we can trust.  Even though it is crazy,  The truth still remains,

They are Friends Without Faces,
And Odd Little Names. :ò)
