Wood, WaterDrops, Swirl and
Weave
I assumed these four
filters would be lots of fun and one of the easier Lessons. Duh! You know what
Ass-u-me means. Wood for example is Tough. No, Not just the material itself, the
actual application of the Wood Filter to make the effect possibly resemble Wood
was a bit wealdy :)

With these two examples of the Wood
filter applied to DingBats, *whew* that get's Da Vixen 'Out of the Woods!'
WaterDrops
The liquid that descends
from the clouds as rain, forms streams, lakes, and seas, and is a major constituent
of all living mater and that when pure is an odorless, tasteless, very slightly
compressible liquid oxide of hydrogen H²0 which appears bluish in thick layers,
freezes at 0°C, and boils at 100°C, has a maximum density at 4°C and
a high specific heat, is feebly ionized to hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, and is
a poor conductor of electricity and a good solvent.

Stonehenge ~
Crackled, Swirled, Framed, Swirled again and Beveled By Da Bevel Boss
I used Dreamsuite1 ~ Crackle Preset,
added 3 additional spotlights and reduced the feathering on each until I was pleased
with the eerie effect on the lighting. Returned to PSP *private to Robin -- that's
v8 :) and loaded the saved sky selection and applied the Swirl ~ Wispy Preset
(I think). Added a border of 20 pixels, used the Reflection
Effects ~ Pattern to create the frame, gave that bad boy back to Eye Candy for
a Swirl, then got Da Boss to Bevel him properly.
Weave Filter
What do I say about this poor excuse
for an example of a perfectly good and useful EyeCandy Filter?
The Weave filter I think has endless possibilities and was so much fun to play
with.
I see this filter being used and abused quite a bit by Da Vixen.
Awesome Lesson
and Wonderful assignment, Sara!
About the time I think
Sara's classes just cannot get any better. *BAM* She Does it again!! :)
Your classes are always so challenging and rewarding to be able to finally understand
how to 'Play with our Toys'
Thank You so much for sharing all your expertise with us!
*fyi -- not much Drop Shadow used on
this page with any of the images. This Wooden background played havoc with how
it appeared :(
