Auto Fx DreamSuite Gel ~ Week 3

Well.. Well.. Well, Week 3 was quite a challenge.

First off I had to find a window that had window panes that would allow me to fictitiously alter the weather conditions outside.

Once I had the window in place THEN I had to Sit and Wait for that perfect moment to happen.

With this image open in Paint Shop Pro I selected all the window panes with the Lasso Tool ~ Yep, thirteen total. In Dreamsuite Gel, Special Effects I chose Crystal Painter with no preset chosen. I confined the selections, applied the Background Image and clicked to Shield Transparency. I lowered the Radius to 6, changed the depth to 7 (they're kinda small panes and I manipulated the large window a little differently). In the Environment Control I choose Foil 4 to make each pane look a bit more like glass with the slider set to 9.. that is the technique that causes it to appear to have a glare. To get some frosty scratches I applied the Texture Feathers with the slider at 6 and only moved the Luminance slider to about 12 (*didn't write that effect down) Again, those Memory Dots are Pricelesssssssssssss ... initially I wondered why Auto Fx offered so many until this project!! :)

Back to the Surface Controls. I used the Water Reflection Texture, Brush size 18, Opacity 100 and Feather 100 to paint the Frosty Scratches. Then Blah, Blah Blah -- I Painted the Frost.

Needless to say there is No Way You could try this technique at Home Alone. I am getting Sound Professional advice on my endeavors here and I am not able to accomplish this experiment AND share all this wonderful information with You.
That just Ain't gonna happen!!

Me and the Kitty decided that a Comets sudden appearance was a pretty darn good happenstance.

Ahhhhhhhh... Da Cat is off getting a snack right now ~~ *sigh*
good thing I have this advanced technology or he would have missed the whole show.
